About the Art
Because we believe in art’s capacity to deliver the emotional depth of our community stories, we commissioned multiple new art pieces by the artist Britchida inspired by our research. We met with Brit multiple times and discussed the themes emerging in our participants’ stories, while Brit shared their ideas and sketches in response. Through this process, they ultimately created four powerful new pieces inspired by our participants’ healing journeys. This art is included in the zine alongside art from participants. About Brit
